Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:       

 

The High Voltage (HV) Benches Testing Engineer is accountable for Plant benches coordination and tests execution supporting projects validation test plan, testing procedures and qualification for both prototyping and series production vehicles.

 

Principal subjects: Testing engineering, planning, risk assessment, tracking, activities coordination, tests execution, benches use.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·        Coordinate and Perform tests in according to international standards on electrical for LV and HV-power components, for LV/HV electric lines, thermal and mechanical tests.

·        Coordinate and Perform vehicle tests in according to international standards, through benches use like Dyno bench test, Battery bench and Batteries emulator, EMC equipments….

·        Safety mindset and approach on all the testing techniques.

·        Manage optimally measuring instruments and testing tools such as:

o   CanAlyzer

o   ETAS INCA

o   Multimeters

o   Oscilloscopes

o   Power analyzer

o   Sensors (digital/analog)

 

·        Prepare test reports and technical procedures.

·        Project and develop new test methods, also by using automation software.

·        Improve existing test methods.

·        Analyze the test methods by understanding the international standards.

·        Provide expert support on high voltage topics to other members of the team.

·        Communicate proactively to management all project issues, risks and required resources.

·        Analyze and understating of CAN, LIN and other common automotive networks by using CanAlyzer or similar tools.

·        Analyze the common automotive diagnostic methods according the standard international protocols.



Candidate Profile:

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

 

·        Knowledge on high voltage components functionalities and HW specifications.

·        Knowledge of testing equipment use like dyno benches, EMC tools, Power benches.

·        Define and execute the high voltage components and vehicles testing activities.

·        Analyse and tracking the component testing results in line with the validation plan.

·        Issues Definition and resolution in collaboration with the suppliers and other team members for specific HV components.

·        Basic knowledge on the Homologation requirements especially at vehicle & component level.

·        Basic knowledge on the electro-mechanical systems.

·        Knowledge of electric and hybrid driveline architectures.

·        Knowledge of electronic circuits and understanding of electric and electronic schematics.

·        Basic knowledge in CAN bus network management and LIN communication protocol.

·        Computer skills:

 

o  Windows operating systems

o  Microsoft Office™ tools (Word™, Excel™ and PowerPoint™)
